Storing Citrus Peel
When citrus pulp is going to be fed within approximately three weeks, it can be stored on a suitable solid surface.
For longer-term storage, the material should initially be allowed to settle. We recommend leaving the clamp open for one day before covering it securely.
Correct covering and storage are important to minimise exposure to air and help prevent spoilage and mould growth.
Individual storage requirements can vary depending on volumes, site conditions and intended feeding periods, so appropriate storage planning should form part of the supply process.
